AHS is staffed by a team of professional audiologists, all licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Our audiologists hold advanced degrees from accredited universities with special training in the prevention, identification, assessment and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders. Our staff is not only able to detect hearing loss but also determine whether amplification (hearing aids) or a medical referral to our affiliated company, Otolaryngology Associates, will best assist you. Services:
We provide advanced hearing and balance assessment services including sound proof testing suites and state-of-the-art audiometers at all three office locations.  All offices are fully equipped to provide a complete range of audiology and hearing aid services to patients of all ages, infant through geriatrics.  Diagnostic testing and hearing aid services are available by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

At your visit, our audiologist will obtain a thorough case history and comprehensive audiologic evaluation.  Once the audiologist has completed your audiometric assessment, he or she will take as much time as needed to review the results of your hearing evaluation and answer your questions.  The audiologist will discuss your difficulties and personal expectations with regard to your hearing and provide you with detailed advice on the most appropriate remedy to your situation.  Such suggestions may include a recommendation for hearing instruments, utilization of assistive listening devices, or advice on how to make use of effective communication strategies.  Should your test results suggest the need for medical follow-up, the audiologist will provide you with the appropriate physician referral.
